British Superbike Rider Callum Grigor in Coma After Donington Crash

British Superbike rider Callum Grigor, 27, from Wishaw, Scotland, has been placed in an induced coma following a serious crash at Donington Park. The incident occurred during the Pirelli National Superstock Championship race where Grigor was thrown off his bike near Goddards Corner and collided with fellow rider Nathan Harrison from the Isle of Man.

Grigor received immediate medical attention on the track and was subsequently placed in a medically induced coma before being taken to the hospital. The British Superbike organization released a statement confirming the crash and the conditions of both riders, stating that Grigor was in a serious condition requiring urgent intervention while Harrison suffered an isolated limb injury.

Both riders were transferred to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for further assessment and care. Messages of support have flooded social media platforms in response to the crash, with fans expressing their concerns and well-wishes for Grigor and Harrison.
