KSI’s brother Deji got a nasty surprise after pranking the boxing devotee. YouTube star Deji set KSI up on Britain’s Got Talent at the weekend, but his older bro made sure he got the last laugh.
On Britain’s Got Talent on April 5, a mysterious figure called The Tormentor appeared and picked KSI, 31, out of all of the judges to pick on.
The masked man then looked inside KSI’s head and tortured him with his worst fears, but it was revealed at the end of the act that there wasn’t a mind reader behind the mask but Deji – who grew up with the judge and knew things others wouldn’t.
KSI was truly terrified by his on-screen torment and vowed to get revenge on 28-year-old Deji, and followed through on his promise just days later as the gamer appeared on Lorraine.
Christine Lampard was the guest host on Monday, and of course spoke to Deji about his ITV prank. “He’s going to try to set you up now though, isn’t he? Is this what you worry about now?” she asked.
“I’ve been avoiding him, so yeah,” Deji admitted, with Christine musing: “And that’s the problem isn’t it, because you’re kind of on stand-by the whole time-”
As the This Morning star spoke, a woman dressed as a clown was shown creeping from backstage until she got right behind Deji’s shoulder, cutting the host off as she screamed: “Boo!”
Deji immediately cried out and turned around before leaping out of his chair and falling to the ground a distance away. “Oh my gosh. Was that from JJ?” he asked between bouts of panicked laughter, using his brother’s nickname.
“Yes! I’m so sorry, you know I wouldn’t do that to you. Would you like to hear what he has to say?” Christine asked, with the screen showing a pre-recorded message from KSI.
The BGT cackled out an evil laugh, and exclaimed: “Gotcha, bro! Thank you so much, Christine, for pranking Desi. Obviously getting pranked on BGT, national TV, very embarrassing, okay? It was funny, I’ll admit it was very funny. But embarrassing. So I’m so glad that we got you back, Dej.”
Prior to getting revenge, KSI opened up about his brush with the Tormentor during an exclusive chat with the Mirror, and the terrified star admitted that he had no idea it was about to happen. “I was blind to it all,” he insisted.
“When I got pulled up on stage, I just thought, ‘Here we go. How is he going to torment me?’ He gets me up on stage and he mentions a girl I was involved with years ago, no one really knows about her, only a specific few people do.”
Dropping a big hint that he wouldn’t let sleeping dogs lie after being mocked for his dramatic reaction to the act, he ominously stated: “I already know I’m gonna get clowned on memes. That is going viral and is what it is, I just have to take it! I will get payback on The Tormentor!”
