Emmerdale star Danny Miller and his wife Steph have announced they’re expecting their third child. Taking to Instagram, the star posted an adorable black and white picture with his wife and two kids, which he captioned: “Three is the magic number…”
In the post, Danny’s wife Steph could be seen showing off her baby bump as the couple held hands with their children, Albert and Edith. The couple’s two children featured in a second picture, next to a board which said: “Albert Edith baby #3”. The couple, who began dating in 2019 were flooded with messages of congratulations from friends, fans and family. “Massive congratulations to you both,” one penned, while another said: “Congratulations to you all x”.
Danny, who plays Aaron Dingle in the hit ITV soap proposed to his wife Steph in 2021, during a holiday to St Lucia. Shortly after their engagement, the couple gave birth to first child, Albert. They then welcomed Edith in 2023, a year after getting married in 2022.
In 2021, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner revealed that he and his wife had looked into undergoing fertility treatment before falling pregnant with their miracle baby.
“We were going to go through the IVF which would’ve led us up to April next year and then she naturally fell pregnant, it sped everything up four or five months, and I was going to say no to the show because I didn’t think it was the right time,” Danny explained to the Mirror at the time.
Albert was born just weeks before Danny was due to enter the jungle, but he said Steph was fully behind his decision to enter.
“She was the one who said, ‘You need to do it for us and to set us up,'” he admitted.
“Without this show, I wouldn’t have been able to leave Emmerdale and it’s all good saying that I wanted to go out there and show people who I am and stuff, but financially I’m not going to lie, without her, I wouldn’t have been able to do the show.”
Danny made an unannounced return to the soap as Aaron Dingle in 2023 – leaving fans blown away. After leaving the village in 2021, he reprised his role for a few episodes as part of Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary in 2022 before coming back permanently.
