Elderly Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Iceland Parking Lot

Police have reported a tragic incident where an 86-year-old pedestrian lost her life following a collision in an Iceland parking lot.

Emergency responders rushed to a supermarket in Aspley, Nottingham, on Monday afternoon after a car struck the elderly woman. The victim sustained severe injuries and was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries in the early hours of Wednesday.

Nottinghamshire Police are now seeking witnesses to the incident. Detective Constable Liah Lane, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, expressed condolences to the woman’s family and requested privacy for them during this challenging period. Authorities urge anyone with information or footage of the event to come forward to aid in the investigation.
