Celebrations chocolates are always a hit for UK shoppers around Christmas, but there’s no reason why they can’t be enjoyed during Easter, too. For fans of the confectionary, Home Bargains is offering a jumbo box in a deal that’s currently better than Amazon.
Food blogger @Newfoodspotteruk showed the huge box of Celebrations, which is on shelves for £11.99. It holds a whopping 2.4kg of the bite-sized chocolates, which works out the same as buying four of the standard tubs you get around December.
In the comment section, one said: “The big box of celebrations is giving Costco vibes. [Home Bargains] need to start doing the massive cakes now!” Another joked: “About 12,000 calories in that celebrations box – and I would eat it all to myself!”
A third wrote: “This is a chocoholic’s dream – perfect for parties, gifting, or just indulging at home. Fresh, delicious, and great value for the amount you get.” Someone else said: “I was happy to see it was a good-sized box of chocs. Well worth the price!” A fifth commented: “Fantastic bargain, can top up my tubs now, with out spending a lot of money on the small tubs.”
The exact same-sized box is available on Amazon for £21.58, down from £28. This makes the Home Bargains’ £11.99 deal something that fans of the mini treats won’t want to miss out on.
The huge Celebrations chocolate box has sold out on Home Bargains’ website. Shoppers will have to take their chances in stores or wait until stock is replenished online.
Commenting on the £1..99 deal, Home Bargains says: “Indulge in the delightful Celebrations Mix 2.432kg, a scrumptious assortment of milk chocolates and a tasty milk chocolate-covered biscuit, perfect for sharing! Plus, it’s suitable for vegetarians, making it a sweet treat everyone can enjoy!”
Celebrations contain an array of popular chocolates that are adored by millions across the country. These include such as Twix, Mars, Malteasers, Milky Way, Galaxy, Galaxy Caramel, Snickers and Bounty.
@Newfoodspotteruk’s video also showed Home Bargains has plenty of other chocolate treats in store ahead of Easter, which falls on Sunday, April 20 this year. In the clip, viewers also saw the glittery makeover that Lindt’s iconic gold bunny has been given for Easter.
The special edition £4.99 is available in a sparkly gold foil packaging instead of its signature smooth gold. It would make a great gift this Easter or as something special to treat yourself too.
The dazzling packaging twinkles with glitter as it catches the light. Whilst you’d expect this to make the chocolate bunny cost more, it’s actually cheaper in Home Bargains than anywhere else – with a regular price of £7 (according to the RRP listed on the shelves).
