A tragic incident unfolded as a three-month-old infant has lost their life in a hospital due to severe injuries. The infant was urgently transported to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary in critical condition following a distress call from a residence in Eston, North Yorkshire, on Sunday, October 5. Despite efforts to save the baby, Cleveland Police has sadly confirmed the heartbreaking news of the baby’s passing.
Bradley Thomas, 22, was presented in court on Tuesday, October 7, facing charges of section 18 grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent. Thomas, residing on Grasmere Road in Redcar, did not provide a plea during a brief session at Teesside Magistrates’ Court. He has been detained in custody and is scheduled to make his next appearance at Teesside Crown Court on Wednesday, November 5.
