An individual suspected of wielding a knife and attacking police officers and civilians outside a college in Bradford has been apprehended. The incident occurred this morning, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. Security personnel at Bradford College initially detained the suspect before West Yorkshire Police took him into custody.
The arrested man, in his 30s, is facing charges of assaulting two members of the public and two emergency responders. The injured victims, whose wounds are reportedly non-life-threatening, were hospitalized, while a small gardening tool was confiscated at the scene.
Detective Inspector Ailis Coates assured the community that the situation was swiftly contained and urged witnesses to share any footage they captured to aid the ongoing investigation.
