Six individuals have been apprehended by law enforcement following a homicide investigation triggered by a fatal stabbing incident inside a residence in Leicester.
Police were summoned to the property by the East Midlands Ambulance Service at 1:37 am on Sunday where they discovered a man in his 30s with a stab wound, later pronounced dead at the scene.
Leicestershire Police disclosed that after thorough inquiries, six men were taken into custody. Among them, a 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, while the remaining five individuals, aged between 24 and 53, were detained on suspicion of aiding an offender.
The detained men are currently being held by the police, with investigations ongoing. The street where the incident occurred was temporarily sealed off but has since been reopened.
