A 13-year-old female has been taken into custody on suspicion of committing a homicide in Swindon. The arrest followed the discovery of a deceased woman in her 50s at a residence in Baydon Close, Moredon, on Friday evening. Police found the woman unresponsive after receiving reports of disturbance at the house. Regrettably, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have notified her relatives about the incident.
A perimeter has been established around the property as law enforcement officials delve into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s demise. Detective Inspector Darren Ambrose, part of the Major Crime Investigation Team, remarked, “This is a grave incident resulting in the loss of a woman’s life. We have cordoned off the premises for investigation purposes.”
He added, “A teenage girl has been apprehended in connection with this incident, and there is no active search for other suspects. We urge the public to refrain from speculating on the details of the case.
